Meet the HarborView Team
HarborView Financial Services was founded by husband-and-wife team Chris and Tanya Duerrich.
Our path to bookkeeping began long before HarborView Financial Services was created. For decades, Chris worked closely with small business owners as a business broker, helping them prepare for growth, financing, ownership transitions, and business sales. Throughout those years, one lesson stood out again and again: business owners who understand their financials are better positioned to make informed decisions and build long-term value.
We have also owned and operated small businesses ourselves. We know what it’s like to juggle daily operations, serve customers, manage expenses, and keep everything moving forward. We’ve experienced firsthand how organized financial records can make life easier—and how difficult it can be when they aren’t.
Both of us hold bachelor’s degrees in accounting, combining formal education with years of real-world business experience. We’ve worked with entrepreneurs at many stages of the business journey and understand the challenges that come with running a small business.
